The bugs have assembled to teach you to fly! Except you don't have your wings yet. . . Ever hopeful, a butterfly, a ladybug, a dragonfly, and a grasshopper are here to prepare you, knowing well that the pair of wings you grow depends on the teacher you favor. Just be sure to show up for lessons, or you might lose the gift of flight before you ever get to use it.

Game features

Enjoy hand-drawn sprites, second-person narration, contemporary beats soundtrack & 7 endings. 

Time Management

Fifteen days are on the clock to learn the gift of flight completely from one teacher. It could be plenty time, or other factors may force you to skip days.

Player-Determined Socialization

With up to 5 opportunities to socialize on a typical day, control how often and how long you engage with others.

Anti-social friendly: 

Explore your surroundings and choose your own adventure by scavenging at the start of the day. Collect sparse items to beautify your modest cave. 

Socialite friendly: 

Go for a jam-packed day of greetings, discussion with your teacher, visiting the elderly, and mending disputes. 

Please note: This is not a romantic game experience.

Choice Heavy

The mood of the game largely depends on you. Possibilities include:

• Relaxing
• Thrilling
• Warm
• Spurned

Control when your day begins and ends

• Shorten your day by sleeping in or going to bed early. 
• Lengthen it by waking up early and taking a stroll in the evening
• Go to classes or skip them

No routes!  Take lessons from any available teacher but eventually you must decide which class to graduate.

• Influence interactions between characters and experience the consequences.
• Trigger special events with good friends.

Character Rich

Learn life lessons and unique perspectives of the teachers as they gradually share tales of their own challenges. Get an update every day from a loyal messenger bug. Take a comedic break at the Dogbane patch and have a relaxing observational stroll in the evening.

I am working on this game without any prior experience with coding, digital art tools, digital music tools, or having ever finished a novel. Some assets may be contributed by other artists and programmers as budget, time, and energy allows. I am expecting to release in a browser playable format and with the option to download the files. Playing by browser will be free. Downloading the files for offline play will be $14.
